# Off Chain Token Issuers

As an off chain issuer, you can distribute off chain tokens to your customers and users.

How it works:

Off Chain issuers self-manage and deploy our open source Sass platform to distribute off chain tokens. This can be used for a live event where off chain tokens are used for proof of entry (via a QR scanner), on-line or both. 

As the issuer (organiser); tokens can be distributed, revoked and upgraded (as the technology evolves to include new functionalities).

For the end user; off chain tokens can be managed via their Apple Wallet / Google Wallet / Email QR / Email Magic Link (cryptographically embedded url). 

Additionally, off chain tokens can be linked to smart contracts extending their capabilities to on chain use cases (e.g. on-boarding web2 users to web3 experiences).
